product description
1971 Omega Constellation ""C"" Chronometer Vintage Mens Watch with Green Dial - Stainless Steel Perfect Restored Condition - Fully Omega Today's offering features this fine example of a third generation ""C"" or Constellation with a distinctive green vignette dial. It has all of its original parts down to the original crystal gasket! It offers some of the things we really love about Omegas in this period. Its case presents the quintessence of the retro-style tonneau case. The bezel and case sides feature highly polished facets that contrast and enhance the appearance of the satin finish elsewhere. The watch is powered by Omega's officially chronometer-certified caliber 1011 movement, featuring a quick-set date and 23 jewels. The ultra-thin automatic movement measures just 4.25mm thick. It has a thinner rotor to reduce stress on the winding parts. It has all its original parts and has just completed a true restoration carried out by experts - it has a rating of 9.7 out of 10. Its case is in beautiful new condition with perfectly clean facets on the lugs and bezel. Our photos couldn't do it justice. Its dial has been meticulously refurbished in a green vignette - green in the center fading to black on the periphery. The impression could pass to the naked eye as that of an Omega factory. As part of the restoration, its chronometer movement was revised by a Master Watchmaker. It runs very strong and faithfully, keeping time almost equal to a new Omega in our test recording position. For the finishing touch, we installed a new leather strap and aftermarket Omega-style buckle, making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
