Ok so I'm pretty meticulous about boot shopping. Little to none make the cut because I can't stand fighting with a pair of boots to put them on. I can't stand knee high boots that are either baggy or too tight around the calf. I can't stand boots that aren't comfortable... These passed all my tests. I just don't have the occasion to wear them much anymore. Looking to pay it forward to someone who can give them their next life! These are sleek sexy boots by Steve Madden that are meant to be seen. Don't buy them if you don't want to make a statement or be noticed. They are foxy to the max! Shaped like a pump heel in the front. Soft faux leather rising up to below the knee. A striking gold zipper closure up the entire heel and back of calf. Can personally attest to these being *actually comfortable to wear* + easy to put on with socks and close - the two most elusive aspects of boots. Then there's getting the right calf fit, amiright? These have elastic built into top so they will adjust to different calf sizes. Whew! They have been wax treated for snow/rain weather resistance . The leather that's covering the back of the heels and the bottom of the boots and heel tips literally still look brand spanking new! Lined on the inside with a soft, slightly padded material. No rips, holes, tears in that. The only flaw I could find is a bit of a crease on the top area of one boot - see pic. Coming from a pet free and smoke free home.
