product description
Collectible Item Rare Vivienne Westwood Diamond Jubilee Silver Sequin Dress Uk8-10. It was then taken to Vivienne Westwood in London to be altered (the leftover fabric was stored in a ziplock which was used for alteration. This was only worn once to a wedding and has the following: some very small food marks in places and some glitter is missing which is not very visible. I have receipts for the original purchase and the alterations at the Vivienne Westwood store. The size is obviously not no longer a UK 14 so please refer to the photos as it is now a UK 8. -10 but obviously we are all a different size so my measurements are extremely important to see. Please ask for additional measurements if necessary to make sure this is your correct size. There are also some internal stains at the top of the inside of the corset that are not visible. ""It's not visible and I'm not sure if a dry cleaner can remove it. This has been made for a very special limited edition collection to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in the UK and comes with its original VW clothing carrier bag. This dress was famously worn by Diane Kruger on the red carpet at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
about VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
Dame Vivienne Westwood is an English fashion designer and businesswoman, largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream. Westwood came to public notice when she made clothes for Malcolm McLaren's boutique in the King's Road, which became famous as "SEX". It was their ability to synthesise clothing and music that shaped the 1970s UK punk scene, dominated by McLaren's band, the Sex Pistols. She was deeply inspired by the shock-value of punk - "seeing if one could put a spoke in the system".
